Rochester City Council Unanimously Approves CityGate Zoning

                                         

December 14, 2010

The Rochester City Council unanimously approved zoning changes at its meeting December 14 allowing the CityGate development project to move forward. CityGate is an exciting and new urban live-work community proposed to be built on the Erie Canal the likes of which are unequaled in Rochester. The 63-parcel site is situated in two municipalities - the City of Rochester (44 acres) and Town of Brighton (19 acres) - and is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of East Henrietta and Westfall roads at the site of the former Monroe County Iola campus on the southern edge of the Erie Canal.

Anthony J. Costello & Son Development Names Todd Patrick Grady Director of Marketing, Media/Community Relations

Anthony J. Costello & Son Development, LLC and USAirports announced today that Todd Patrick Grady has been hired as director of marketing, media/community relations. He will oversee all internal and external communications, marketing strategies, event planning and advertising for the companies.

He brings more than 15 years of communications, business development and fundraising experience to his new job, including positions as director of communications for the Rochester Business Alliance and business reporter for the Democrat and Chronicle. Grady’s responsibilities included reporting on economic development, the airline industry, small business, Paychex, Inc. and Rochester Gas & Electric Corp.

In 2003, he was named the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Journalist of the Year for the Western District of New York in recognition of outstanding achievements and contributions to the economy and small business.

Grady holds a bachelor’s of science degree in communication from the State University of New York College at Fredonia.

Anthony J. Costello and Son Development / USAirports is pleased to announce the appointments of Wendy Thomas as Assistant Controller - Real Estate and Erica Marchioli as Senior Staff Accountant.  In these newly created positions, Thomas assists in developing and maintaining financial data for the multiple real estate and property entities by establishing and managing accounting policies and procedures and their relationship with external and internal parties, operations and related companies.  Marchioli accounts for all company payroll, aviation collections, aviation accounts payable and bank reconciliation. Marchioli was previously employed in Aviation and Manufacturing industries where she oversaw payroll, accounts payable, inventory control and purchasing.

 

Anthony J. Costello & Son Development Names Dominick Caroselli Vice President of Residential Development

Anthony J. Costello & Son Development announces the appointment of Dominick Caroselli as Vice President of Residential Development. Dominick also will work in the role of Project Executive and Builder for The Reserve on the Erie Canal – a 327 residential lifestyle community located on a 63-acre parcel located in Brighton that will include loft condominiums, townhomes, patio homes, brownstones, custom single-family homes and a country club-like clubhouse. In this role, Dominick will be responsible for overall project coordination and design construction issues related to homes and interior finishes for the loft buildings and clubhouse.

Prior to joining Anthony J. Costello & Son Development, Dominick owned Cambridge Park Development. The company's projects included the Roxbury Lane Subdivision in Pittsford, several homes in Cobblestone Creek and homes in Mendon, Webster and on Canandaigua Lake.

Dominick, a native of Rochester, began his career with the Spall Home organization as a construction manager and advanced to Vice President. He left Spall Home after nine years to become a partner in Caroselli/Spall.

New Role for Mark Klein

Costello & Son Property Management is pleased to announce Mark Klein will now be responsible for Safety and Loss Prevention.  Mark will be responsible for maintaining company safety policies and manuals,  ensuring compliance with all government agencies (NFPA, OSHA, Fire Marshal etc.),  performing site inspections of construction sites and facilities to ensure proper risk management measures are in place and  managing loss prevention programs to maintain and lower our experience rating modification factors.
