Anthony J. Costello and Son Development / USAirports is pleased to announce the appointments of Wendy Thomas as Assistant Controller - Real Estate and Erica Marchioli as Senior Staff Accountant.
In these newly created positions, Thomas assists in developing and maintaining financial data for the multiple real estate and property entities by establishing and managing accounting policies and procedures and their relationship with external and internal parties, operations and related companies.
Marchioli accounts for all company payroll, aviation collections, aviation accounts payable and bank reconciliation. Marchioli was previously employed in Aviation and Manufacturing industries where she oversaw payroll, accounts payable, inventory control and purchasing.

Anthony J. Costello & Son Development is pleased to announce Karen Valle has joined the company as Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO. In her position, Karen extensively interfaces with external clients and internal personnel, manages the CEO's calendar and correspondence, coordinates corporate and departmental meetings and events, as well as assists with on-going and future high-level projects. Karen was most recently employed as an Executive Assistant to the Partner and Executive Director of Ernst and Young.
DeAnna VandenBosch has also joined the company as Purchasing Agent. In this newly created position, DeAnna assists the Controller with creating policies and procedures for procuring materials, parts and services for various end users. DeAnna interfaces with employees and end users to obtain purchasing requirements while designing systems to consolidate work order, job cost and operations based P.O.s. DeAnna recently worked in purchasing and planning for Hover-Davis.
New Director of Human Resources

Anthony J. Costello & Son Development announces the addition of BARBARA MARIANETTI as Director of Human Resources. In this position, Barbara will be responsible for the development, implementation, communication and administration of all human resources policies and procedures, including compensation, benefits, recruiting and training programs. Barbara holds a B.S. from St. John Fisher College and previously served as the Human Resources Manager for Light Fabrications, Inc.
New Role for Mark Klein

Costello & Son Property Management is pleased to announce Mark Klein will now be responsible for Safety and Loss Prevention. Mark will be responsible for maintaining company safety policies and manuals. Ensuring compliance with all government agencies (NFPA, OSHA, Fire Marshal etc.). Perform site inspections of construction sites and facilities to ensure proper risk management measures are in place. Manage loss prevention programs to maintain and lower our experience rating modification factors.

John Villareale knows leasing! He is our “go to guy” on all matters involving leasing, from working with clients to develop an accommodating space to partnering with existing tenants to ensure their office facility continues to meet their needs.
Prior to joining our team, John served as a leasing and tenant relations officer for Buckingham Properties, LLC in Rochester. Once you meet John, we’re certain you will quickly discover the qualities that make him an excellent partner. He’s accessible, approachable, responsible, and fair – and that’s why he’s on our team!

Community Business Leader Terry Slaybaugh Joins AJ Costello & Son Development
Anthony J. Costello & Son Development is pleased to announce the addition of Terrence G. Slaybaugh to the company as Senior Vice President. Terry was formerly Director of Planning and Development for Monroe County and was longtime Director of Aviation at the Greater Rochester International Airport.
Terry’s experience in development, his outstanding organizational and management skills, and his track record of successfully leading Monroe County through a variety of capital improvement initiatives are exactly in line with the caliber of excellence our clients have come to expect from us.
Terry’s reputation for effective management of large capital projects can be evidenced in his oversight of the construction of Rochester’s Frontier Field, as well as numerous concourse and runway renovation projects at the Greater Rochester International Airport.
As Senior Vice President, Terry is involved with numerous development projects, including our most recent – CityGate, an exciting urban live-work center the likes of which is unequaled in Rochester. The development is designed to merge retail, commercial, and housing into a pedestrian-friendly center where people of all ages will gather to live, work and play.
